We recently discovered an issue with our SMS messaging system that prevented the delivery of an update regarding the change from Prohibited to Restricted burning period.

As part of a recent system upgrade, an unexpected technical issue caused the loss of subscriber information. This means that if you were previously receiving Fire Danger Ratings, Fire Bans and Burning Period alert via SMS, you will need to resubscribe to continue receiving these important updates.

We want to reassure you that your personal information has not been accessed or compromised. The issue was purely a technical fault, and we are actively working on improving our messaging system to ensure more reliable communication in the future.
