How do I get my pet out of the pound?

An initial impound fee of $130 will apply, subsequent days following this will incur a fee of $15 each day.  All animals must be registered to be released from the pound which will be an additional cost. Contact Community Safety Rangers for further information on 9290 6629.

Discounted Impoundment Fees

Dogs 

If your dog is registered and microchipped at the time of impoundment, the initial impound fee will be reduced to $100 (the $15 fee for additional days will still apply).

Cats 

If your cat is registered, microchipped and sterilised at the time of impoundment, the initial impound fee will be reduced to $100 (the $15 fee for additional days will still apply).

Found a cat or dog?

Contact Community Safety Rangers on 9290 6629. Dogs will be collected if the owners cannot be located or if there is a history of behavioural issues.
