Please note that Mt Helena Aquatic Centre is currently closed for the winter season.

Mt Helena Aquatic Centre is a shared facility between the Department of Education and Shire of Mundaring. A ten year shared use Agreement was signed in 2019 between the Shire and the Department.

Local schools use the facility between 9am and 3pm on weekdays in Terms 1 and 4.

Location

Mt Helena Aquatic Centre is located on Keane Street in Mt Helena, adjacent to Eastern Hills Senior High.

Public opening hours

The Centre is currently closed for the winter season and will re-open for the summer season on Saturday 20 November 2024.

During school term (pool entry half price after school)

  • Monday to Friday, 3.15pm to 6pm
  • Weekends & public holidays, 12 noon to 6pm

During December/January school holidays

  • Monday to Sunday (including public holidays), 12 noon to 6pm

During VacSwim lessons

  • The pool is closed to the public before 12 noon whilst VacSwim lessons are running.
  • Between 12 noon and 1.30pm four lanes are made available for public swimming.
  • After 1.30pm the whole complex is available for public swimming until close.
  • VacSwim lessons are held in January between 9am and 1.30pm, Monday to Friday.

The Centre is closed on Christmas Day.
