Welcome to the Bilgoman Aquatic Centre, your go-to place for swimming and relaxation during the summer months in Darlington. Featuring a 50-metre heated Olympic-sized pool and a special shaded pool for toddlers, we offer a refreshing escape for swimmers of all ages.

Location and opening hours

Bilgoman Aquatic Centre is located on the corner of Lionel Road and Great Eastern Highway in Darlington.

Opening times during the summer season are:

• Monday to Friday: 5.30am to 7pm*
• Weekends and Public Holidays: 7am to 7pm.

*Please note:

• The pool will close for the 2024/25 season at 3pm on Friday 11 April 2025.
• The pool closes at 8pm Monday to Friday in December, January and February.
• The centre is closed Christmas Day and Easter.
• There is no public access during school swimming carnivals.
• Adults with children under the age of five must be in the water and within arm’s reach of children at all times.
