Shelters for hire

Enjoy a day by the lake with exclusive use of one of our seven shelters, available for hire. Whether you’re planning a family picnic, a group gathering, or a quiet retreat, we have the perfect space for you.

Shelter options and pricing:

  • Small shelter: $49/day (1 table)

  • Medium shelter: $76/day (2 tables)

  • Large shelter: $98/day (4 tables)

Lawn areas for hire

Looking for the perfect spot for a family gathering or children's party? Our three spacious lawn areas are available for exclusive hire, offering plenty of room for fun and relaxation.

Lawn area options and pricing:

  • Lawn area one: 1360sqm

  • Lawn area two: 630sqm (close to the water)

  • Lawn area three: 300sqm (with a shelter).

All lawn areas are available for hire at $173 per day. Book your space today and enjoy a memorable day outdoors.

Change booking date

You are entitled to make one change of date, providing at least two days’ notice is given. 

Date change conditions:

  • No refund will be made if you request to change a date less than 2 days prior to your booked date of arrival.
  • You must advise a date when transferring the booking.
  • The new date must be within 365 days of the initial booking date and will be subject to availability.
  • If an alternate date is not known, the booking will be cancelled and a refund may be provided (maximum 50% of the fee paid).
  • Should any transferred booking, regardless of the notice given, be subsequently cancelled, the maximum refund available is 50% of the fee paid.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations more than 14 days prior to booking date

For bookings cancelled more than 14 days prior to the booking date, a 50% refund is payable. Please contact lake@mundaring.wa.gov.au to organise the refund.

Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the booking date

For bookings cancelled 14 days or less prior to the booking date, no refund is applicable.

Change of date followed by a cancellation

Should any transferred booking, regardless of the notice given, be subsequently cancelled, the maximum refund available is 50% of the fee paid.

Cancellation due to unexpected park closures

A full refund will be available for all shelter and lawn area bookings when the park is closed to the public during dangerous fire conditions, or in an emergency situation. You will be notified at the earliest possible opportunity to offer a change of date or full refund. If you have already commenced your experience and, dependent on your situation, an alternative date may be able to be arranged with booking staff to compensate for any loss of booked time.

Weddings

The Lake is a lovely venue for a wedding with lawn and beach areas, and an amazing natural landscape. Booking one of the Lake's lawn areas is by negotiation. Please contact us to discuss options available.
