The Shire of Mundaring Art Collection is a unique, valuable and richly varied body of artworks created by local artists and craftspeople who have a close connection with the Mundaring community. 

While the collection is comprised of some donated pieces, the majority of artworks have been purchased via an annual Acquisition Exhibition. This exhibition is curated and hosted by the Mundaring Arts Centre, who also manages the care, interpretation and display of the Collection on behalf of the Shire.

The collection is comprised of more than 100 artworks including paintings, prints, drawings, photographs, sculptures, ceramics, textiles, silver and wood crafts, most of which are displayed in the Shire Offices, Council Chambers and community buildings.​
