Representatives' meetings may be established by Council to provide strategic and/or operational advice on a common interest as included in their endorsed Charter.

Cultural Advisory Group
Purpose
The purpose of the Cultural Advisory Group (the group) is to provide strategic advice to Council and be the community voice in matters related to arts, culture and heritage. This advice is related to the strategic outcome "Community: Healthy, safe, sustainable and resilient community, where businesses flourish and everyone belongs." The group is to:
- Provide advice on policies and projects which build on the Shire’s arts, cultural and heritage strengths, goals and objectives.
- Provide advice to on incorporating arts, culture and heritage into the Shire’s strategic plans, informing strategies and operational plans.
- Make recommendations and advocate on behalf of the community and stakeholders on matters related to arts, culture and heritage.
- Foster the awareness of and involvement by residents in community arts, cultural and heritage projects.
- Highlight what is unique about Shire of Mundaring as a place to live, work and visit through various arts, cultural and heritage mediums.
- Promote, inform and celebrate the achievement of local organisations, artists and cultural providers to build on the rich natural and built heritage and artistic traditions of the region thus attracting cultural tourism and building community.
- Identify potential funding partnerships and opportunities and attract funding to support arts, cultural and heritage initiatives.
Membership
The Cultural Advisory Group is comprised of one council member and up to 12 external members who represent a broad spectrum of the cultural sector.

Charter - Cultural Advisory Group
Environmental Advisory Group
Purpose
The purpose of the Environmental Advisory Group is to provide strategic advice to Council on environmental and sustainability issues. This advice is related to the strategic outcome "Natural Environment: A natural environment that is protected, sustainable and enjoyed" with the objectives and strategies:
- Protecting natural areas and biodiversity
- Water management that is efficient and sustainable
- Waste management that is efficient and sustainable
- Energy management that is efficient and sustainable

Membership
The Environmental Advisory Group is comprised of up to two Council Members and up to eight external members who possess:
- knowledge and/or expertise in environmental sustainability issues; and
- demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Shire of Mundaring landscape, ecology and communities.

Charter - Environmental Advisory Group
Mt Helena Aquatic Centre Representatives Meeting
Purpose
The purpose of the Mt Helena Aquatic Centre Representatives Meeting is to:
- Provide advice to Council on the management of the Mt Helena Aquatic Centre.
- Provide a venue for discussion between the Eastern Hills Senior High School and the Shire with regard to the management of Mt Helena Aquatic Centre.
- Ensure the views of the community are reflected in the operation and management of the Mt Helena Aquatic Centre.
Membership
The Mt Helena Aquatic Centre Representatives Meeting is comprised of two Council Members, up to two Shire employees and representatives from:
- the Department of Education representing Eastern Hills Senior High School
- community representatives from Mt Helena Swimming Club
- community representatives from Mt Helena Residents and Ratepayers association
Nominations for External Members
Individual representatives (determined by the relevant organisation) are appointed as external members with advice provided to the Shire. Should a nominated external member be unable to attend a meeting, the organisation may advise the Shire of their replacement. An organisation with a representative absent for three consecutive meetings without leave shall forfeit their membership.
Wade Isard nominated himself to remain as the community representatives (external member) for the Mt Helena Swim Club.
Joan Quinn nominated herself to remain as the community representative for the Mt Helena Residents and Ratepayers Association.
