Shire of Mundaring is excited to welcome Nick Churchill to the newly created role of Manager Project Delivery. With extensive experience in major projects, Nick will oversee key developments across the Shire, including the once-in-a-generation Mundaring Town Centre Revitalisation.
Nick, a civil engineer, has comprehensive project management experience having worked on major state water and transport projects in WA, with both Water Corporation and Metronet - including WA’s second desalination plant near Bunbury. He joins Mundaring from working in a similar role at the Town of Victoria Park.
Nick is looking forward to working closely with the community on key projects for the local area.
"I am super excited about working on projects with direct community impact, that will create such positive and tangible benefit – literally helping rejuvenate local spaces for people to enjoy,” Nick said.
Shire of Mundaring CEO Jason Whiteaker said the whole team is excited to have Nick on board – and pleased to have a dedicated person driving major projects for the community.
“It’s such an exciting time in the Shire with a range of great projects and improvements underway,” he said.
“Attracting someone of Nick’s calibre is a real boon for projects and a great addition to our growing team of expertise - committed to delivering some ambitious outcomes for our community.”
The new role was established as part of a broader organisational review which is focused on building a strong alignment with Council’s 2024 adopted 'Plan for the future' enhancing delivery of services and facilities.
In addition to delivering major projects for the Shire and Community, Nick will also be working on strengthening project management across the Shire.
