Helena Valley Primary School was established in 1927, and is nestled amongst the trees in the Perth foothills, where many of the families choose to live for the semi rural lifestyle offered by Helena Valley.

Students at Helena Valley Primary School are recognised for their positive attitude towards learning and respect for peers. Students are offered educational opportunities to develop their individual skills and knowledge through early identification of strengths and weaknesses.

The school offers specialist areas of Music, Art, Italian and Physical Education. Excelling students are identified and nominated for Gifted and Talented Programs (EYE, PEAC and Kalamunda Extension Program) and Instrumental Music School.

Students are offered the opportunity to participate in a variety of supplementary programs including Interschool Sport, Science, Spelling, Public Speaking and The HEC Arts Festival.
