The Transition Network supports community-led responses to climate change and shrinking supplies of cheap energy, while building resilience and happiness. Our vision is a resilient and sustainable global community and our purpose to encourage and support such a future for the Shire of Mundaring. We hope to do this by engaging the Mundaring community in the transition movement, supporting sustainable practices and connecting with other transition initiatives. We have various interest groups - Heart and Soul, Voluntary Simplicity, Down to Earth, Renewable Energy, a Waste Group and the lend a Hand Group, that meet regularly.
