Hearing Checks at Mundaring Library

Friday 19th July 2024

Could you be missing any of the sounds you love?

Waves breaking on the shore… cicadas in summer… that song you first slow-danced to. These are the sounds that connect us to our world. They have the power to transport us to places deep within our memory or make us laugh at unexpected moments. They are the sounds that make us happy.

That’s why we’re pleased to host Hearing Australia conducting free* hearing checks at Mundaring Library today and at Boya Library on 26 July.

Bookings are not essential, but strongly encouraged in order to avoid wait times in the case of high demand. Please contact Mundaring Library to book, either by phone on 9290 6780 or email at mills@mundaring.wa.gov.au.

A hearing check is a screening that helps identify people that may have hearing loss.

If you are concerned about your, or a loved one’s hearing, please join us and take the first step toward rediscovering the sounds you love.

*Only 15-minute hearing checks are free. Other services may attract charges/fees, or may be subsidised for those eligible under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program to which conditions apply. A hearing check is a screening that helps identify people that may have hearing loss.
