Notice is hereby given for public information that the Shire of Mundaring, at its Ordinary Council Meeting held on the 8 March 2022, resolved to:

1. Advertise draft amendments to Local Planning Policy PS-01 – Advertising Planning Applications for public comment; and
2. Revoke Local Planning Policy PS-04 – Telecommunication with immediate effect.

Local Planning Policy PS-01 - Advertising Planning Applications is proposed to be amended so as to be more aligned with the terms used in the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015.

Local Planning Policy PS-04 - Telecommunication has become ineffectual by State Planning Policy 5.2 – Telecommunications Infrastructure. The advertising requirements expressed within this policy shall be consolidated into Local Planning Policy PS-01 - Advertising Planning Applications.
