How to Finish Your Story, with Ash Harrier

Get unstuck and finish your story! Are you full of amazing creative ideas but struggle to finish a story? Do you get stuck partway through a writing project? Do you just wish you could finish something? Acclaimed author of young adult and children's books, Ash Harrier, will take you through some tried and proven methods to get unstuck and finish your story.

You'll learn about how to structure and outline a story, tips and tricks for when you get stuck, and motivating yourself to get you through to the finish. This 2-hour session is perfect for 10- to15-year old writers who want to upskill and take their writing to the next level

This activity is strictly for children aged 10 to 15 years. The event is free, but bookings are essential via Eventbrite. 

Parents will need to remain within the Boya Community Centre for any children booked who are aged under 12 years.

About Ash Harrier: Ash Harrier is a local author of paranormal and mystery novels. Her books have been shortlisted for the WA Premier's Book Awards, WAYBRA, Readings Prize and Davitt Awards. She's obsessed with writing about characters who seem mediocre but have extraordinary secret talents. Ash is involved with the Books in Homes charitable organisation and is passionate about creative writing and literacy for young people. She teaches and mentors writers all over Australia. She also writes general fiction for adults as Sasha Wasley.
