Northam Aboriginal Cultural Centre Visit

Come along to explore Northam's Bilya Koort Boodja with us and learn about the rich culture of local Aboriginal people on Saturday 22 June 2024.

Join us for an exciting morning at the museum where you can immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of the local Aboriginal community. This event will give you the opportunity to learn about traditional practices, art, environment and stories from knowledgeable guides. Explore the exhibits, participate in interactive activities, and gain a deeper understanding of local Aboriginal heritage.

A free bus to and from Northam leaves the Hub of the Hills at 8 Craig Street Mundaring at 9.30am and returns by 1.30pm. Food and refreshments are provided.

This event is family friendly and children are welcome to accompany their parents.

This activity, hosted by Shire of Mundaring aims to increase the understanding, value and recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, language and history through its Reconciliation Action Plan.
