If you have a strong connection to the Shire of Mundaring through residence, schooling or work, and need financial assistance to get an Arts project up and running, this is an opportunity for you to further your artistic ability, with up to $9,000 being offered in support annually. Applications are due 30 September each year. Currently, there is also the Bob and Trish Juniper Visual Arts Prize of $1,000, which is offered to the most promising visual artist who applies each year. Both of these awards are administered by the Mundaring Bicentennial Scholarship Trust. The Trust was established under the auspices of the Shire of Mundaring as a project to celebrate the Australian Bicentenary in 1988. Since then, the Shire of Mundaring has supported the Awards with annual grants to supplement voluntary fund-raising and donations. Donations to the Trust are fully tax deductible. If you think this is a great idea but are over the age of 35, or just an avid arts appreciator, you are welcome to become a Friend of the Award. For as little as $25 per year, you can support the continued development of our renowned artistic community in the hills. 9299 6093 Mundaring Bicentennial Scholarship Trust 27 Lionel Road DARLINGTON WA 6070 Mundaring Bicentennial Scholarship Trust P O Box 163 DARLINGTON WA 6070 chrisctd@bigpond.com https://www.robertjuniperawardforthearts.org/ The Hills Choir View More We meet for practice on Monday evenings, 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Uniting Church, Stoneville Road, Mundaring. 9574 6626 Uniting Church 120 Stoneville Road MUNDARING WA 6073 PO Box 699 MUNDARING WA 6073 thehillschoir@gmail.com http://hillschoir.org.au/ UFO Craft Group View More If you enjoy a craft that is portable and you have a couple of hours to spend on a Thursday morning 10am - 12pm, do join the UFOers at the hub. 9295 0052 The hub of the Hills 8 Craig Street MUNDARING WA 6073 PO Box 123 MUNDARING WA 6073 cso4@mundaring.wa.gov.au https://www.mundaring.wa.gov.au/events/seniors-craft-group/202 Woodturners Association of WA (Inc) (Mundaring Group) View More Welcome to the Woodturners Association of Western Australia.
